Keith's Story
Life circa April 2021
My life is and has been a continuous journey. It certainly has been much different than I expected as I have been blessed beyond my ability to describe. God has been faithful to me and patient with me and He has given me much more than I could ever have asked for or imagined. I still live in Dothan with my wife Peggy. I work with corporate engineering for WestRock, a large paper company. Retirement is not really in my immediate future (even though I am 60 now) but that is always subject to change. Life is to be lived one day at a time. I have never viewed retirement as a biblical concept and plan to stay busy regardless of if it is working as an engineer or doing something else. Our kids are all grown on on their own now. Our oldest daughter Laura is married and a first grade school teacher here in town. Our son Ryan is a PhD and is an English/Literature teacher at Aubur...Expand for more
n University. Our youngest daughter, Andrea, is a married mom of one (our only grandchild, Frannie) and an Electrical Engineer working from home in Georgia. Our life together has been such a blessing and certainly much different than when I was growing up. My parents divorced while I was in high school which profoundly impacted my life. God used that event to solidify my desire for a family of my own and He has given me that. We have a great life in most ways and I count myself most blessed. God continues to teach me on a moment by moment basis and I try to be a good student to His teaching but I am so slow to learn sometimes. I guess we all would do some things differently if we had it to do over again but I know God has used all the events of my life for my edification. I guess to sum up my life I would have to say again that I am most blessed! Short and sweet and to the point. Blessings!
