More about Keith:"Began playing clarinet in fourth grade. High school teacher Ernest Rodgers was a major influence teaching me to play saxophone. Began playing professionally with the disco/top 40`s cover band called the Unique Experience Band in 1975.
Attended and graduated from Oakland University with a B.S. in music education. While at OU I studied saxophone with Dr. James Dawson, and Sam Sanders. Sam Sanders was a major influence in my saxophone voice, approach, and concept.

I have led ensembles under my name: Keith Gamble and Intensity, and the Keith Gamble Quartet.
Currently I co-lead a performance poetry/avant-garde jazz group with urban folk poet Wardell Montgomery Jr. called Creative Tradition. I also play with the reggae band called Basiks; Continuum Jazz Ensemble; Bigsby/Gamble dual, and the Detroit Disco Project.
In addition to my performing career, I have taught music with the Detroit Public Schools, Detroit Catholic Schools, and private schools as the sole proprietor of K.G. Musical Services. I have also taught in the Clark County Schools in Las Vegas, NV, and other private and charter school in Michigan. Currently I am teaching as an independent music teacher of woodwind and piano.
I also have professional affiliations with the Music Teachers National Association, North American Saxophone Alliance, and the Wayne County Council for the Arts, History, and Humanities.".
