Mary Ann's Story
Life
From the LAST bio, my husband and I have moved from 3 years in Las Vegas, to Wheeling, WV, from where is hails originally. We were married on December 23, 1999, remarriage for each of us. He is an attorney, now practicing in WV. He shoulda been my first husband! We are so very happy with each other. He is my true kindred spirit.
I continue to raise and show my labrador retrievers with success. I breed about one litter a year. My husband has adopted my passion, and together we go to shows, raise and train them. He's developed a good eye for great lab type, too! In turn, I have learned to defend the law, can get down and dirty about discussing football, have become a diehard Steelers fan, but my hometown team, the Eagles are ALWAYS first, have sort of adopted the WV Mountaineers, but never ahead of Penn State!! I have become an open wheel racing afficianado by virtue of marital osmosis. :)
We just bought our first house together in a very rural area on 5 acres. We've been fencing it for the dogs, and kennels are the next thing on the age...Expand for more
nda. We are so thrilled! After divorces, it's a real event in our life together.
Both of my children are now married and each has had their first baby in 2004, daughters! My first grandchildren! Hope Isabella and Hannah Dorothy. My son is a cardiology veterinarian in Tinton Falls, NJ, and his wife is a veterinarian working per diem in Staten Island and Brooklyn, NY.
My daughter is a published co-author of a pediatric ophthalmology paper, and a graduate of Kutztown University in '95. Both are happily married to wonderful spouses.
I do miss Las Vegas and my dear friends there, but I missed the east coast more living out there. Almost as much as I miss my friends there, I miss the shopping and my great nail tech!!!!! WV is truly "Wild and Wonderful."
I'm a licensed clinical social worker in PA, and work in at the Pittsburgh Veteran's Hospital in Oakland on the medicine floor. It's about 105 miles round trip daily. The salary and benefits FAR outweighed working in WV, and coal mining is not my forte!
In short, my life is good.......
