Keith's Story
I'm guessing that there's only a small group of people in high school that actually knew who I was or even knew me. Boy would they be surprised now. I didn't 'come out of my shell' until I was about 25. I'm now quite outgoing and will talk to anyone.
I worked at Prudential for 22 years, 17 in Dresher, PA and then moved to Jacksonville, FL in January of 1991 to pursue better opportunities. I worked at Pru in Jacksonville for five years. I've worked all over the place the last 12 years with numerous consulting firms. I think if I had it to do over again, I would have done it that way. I'm doing a lot of interesting work now in the IT industry and travel on occasion.
I was married in May of 1978 to my first wife. I have two beautiful daughters with her. One just married in May of 2008. My youngest is graduated college in May of 2009. She's a writer and has had several articles published in the Jacksonville paper during her internship. I wouldn't be surprised to see her write a book one day...she's always talked about it.
I was divorced in 1996 and then met my second wife in 1998. I can't say that I 'made a mistake' marrying ...Expand for more
my first wife as I have two lovely daughters. But boy oh boy, I really love Barb and our time together. We lived out in the country with our four dogs in Florida. In September of 2020 we relocated. I'd love to retire, but just can't afford it right now which is how I ended up in Texas, just outside of Fort Worth. It was a great opportunity and add to the fact that both daughters had relocated out here, it has worked out perfectly.
I played all sports forever and am starting to pay for it now. Already had a shoulder surgery and a knee surgery and I'm certain the other shoulder could use some work. Once again, I can't say that I'm disappointed (but achy) because I just love sports. I still bowl and play golf...if you can consider those sports. I have had season tickets to the Jaguars since their inaugural season in the NFL and we had a great group of people that we tailgated with. It was painful having to give up my season tickets to move, but I will be making it back to Jacksonville for a couple of games and to visit with friends.
Guess that's about it for now. Drop me a line if you see this and you know me. Have a good life.
