Keith's Story
After graduating PVHS, I went to Ohio State for 4 years and got a degree in Engineering. I married Beth Streitenberger, who went to Marion Franklin, and we will celebrate 36 years of marriage on Sept. 8. We moved to Chillicothe, OH (which we really liked) and I worked 19 years at the uranium enrichment plant in Piketon, OH where we made material for nuclear weapons and for submarine fuel. During that time we had two boys, Eric and Joel, who are grown and live near us in Knoxville, TN. We moved to TN in 1993 when I transferred to the Y12 nuclear weapons plant where we made and disassembled nuclear weapons. etired in 2005 and went to work for the US Department of Labor as a contractor leading a team of 20 engineers, chemists and medical doctors doing health profiles for workers in the Department of Energy nuclear plants throughout the US. It is a great job that I really like.
God has been good to us. We have good health and no complaints. We are active in our church and I do some part-time work for an Internet university in Alabama, which gets us to the Gulf Coast a few times a year. We just sold our home and are moving farther out of town north of Knoxville. We like Tennessee where the winters are fairly mild and there are no state or local income taxes!
