Life
2006 has started out to be a good year - it's the big 40 this year, but I don't really feel it. Have taken a new job as the Director of Parks and Recreation for a small county outside of Charlottesville, VA - Fluvanna County. Reminds me of Apex back in 1984. Rural is colliding with growth. It's the 95th fastest growing county in the US, not warp speed, but top 100 is fairly rapid. Still enjoying living out in the country. Acquired two horses...Expand for more
just after the new year. Wish Alan Miller was around to teach me how to handle them. It'll be a fun although seemingly challenging task, learning the ins and out of horse ownership. I'll post a pic one day, so those of you who really know me, don't think I'm bsing. Still make it down to the triangle to see those Heels play. Will be in C'ville for a while - if you're ever passing through, give us a call - we're the only Meyerl in the book - again.
