Keli's Story
Life
After high school I joined the Marine Corps as a helo mechanic. While in school I met my soon to be husband. We were married in September of 1998. The Marine Corps stationed me in Jacksonville, NC where we still currently live. I left the Marines in 2000 and have since worked for Sikorsky and Boeing companies. I am currently employed by Boeing as a civillian contractor working with the Marines on the V-22 Osprey helo/plane. ...Expand for more
The V-22 is the new rotary aircraft the Marines, Navy and Airforce will be using to replace the aging fleet of CH-46 Sea Knight helos. The V-22 takes off like a helo but the engines roll down into airplane mode for full flight. My husband and I currently have no children but have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 tanks of fish. My husband just completed his Auto Body Technician degree and I am currently enrolled in college working towards my AA.
