Kellie's Story
Life
I have been living in Wyoming since 1988. I have been in Pinedale, WY for 11 years. I have been married to Floyd for 15 years and we have a daughter, 7 and a son, 5. I am too old to have little kids. We have 4 horses, 2 mules and a crazy dog. Floyd is from a ranching background in Montana. Redneck, shoestring ranching, not Ted Turner ranching.
I am working at the Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management, on a land use plan for about 1 million acres of public land in western Wyoming. I am the team leader and have been working on this project since 2002. We produce huge quantities of natural gas and also have some of the largest mule deer, antelope and elk herds...Expand for more
in the country. So there is a little conflict there.
I ran my first 10k this fall, and I just learned how to knit a sock.
About that photo, it seems the only photos I have of myself are hunting photos. I don't take many pictures of myself. This one is better than the one from last year's Christmas party.
Knitting, Harry Potter, Nickelback, Wild Turkey, chocolate, Detroit Red Wings, antique malls, wandering around in the desert, real steak (beef not elk), road trips, old houses, taking my kids to cool places. These things make me happy.
I shall be in Michigan at Christmas 2007 and again in the summer of 2008, assuming that the class of 1983 is planning a 25th reunion.
