Kelly's Story
Well how times fly's when your getting old,ha ha. Well I left my favorite place( Cypress) and moved to the great state of TEXAS. Did the usual and got married and have 3 beautiful children. I am ahead of the game as my mother thought I would be dead by 25 from an excessive life style (some of you reading where a part of that, ha ha). It didn't happen and even better is that I have become pretty successful here and love it.
My 2 oldest children (Ashley 20 & Tyler 21,yes I was busy)are in college (didn't need that money anyway, right?) and my youngest Gabrielle is 10 (surprise, she added 18 more years to wait for another motor cycle) an in 5th grade. All 3 or my children are into music just like their dad. I still play the guitar and of course they were dying to learn (told my son, do it for the chicks,ha ha). So now 2 of them play guitar, bass & piano and the youngest just started piano and drums ( our house is only quite with ear plugs).
We live in a burbs outside of Houston called Kingwood. My family does not belong in the burbs, but the schools are great and we like our space. I full filled that dream of the big 2 story house (at leas...Expand for more
t I was told that was my dream) and only see the 2nd floor maybe 5 times a year(what was I thinking). My goal with a house was always the room for the Christmas tree. My kids were never going to see a small or fake tree. They get the 15 to 18 foot tree each year and they love it. We now also have more musical equipment than the law should allow (baby, the guitars will appreciate so you can't have too many,ha ha).
I continue to keep my life as normally abnormal as possible. I took a lot of crap when I moved to Texas from California as you may guess, but reminded all that they were lucky to have me here,ha ha. Everyone here is not a redneck or stupid as people like to think. I have been here 21 years and do not own cowboy boots or a cowboy hat. I still wear my Dodgers hat backwards as is standard and follow the Lakers.
So all in all I have a pretty good life and have done well. I still keep in contact with a few people from back in the day, but not as many as I would like. I think I will start signing on here more often to see who is around and what is up. All I can say is my life turned out completely different than I thought it would.
