Kelly's Story
Hello most people from high school know me as Bridgette. I have 1 son who is 18 and graduating this year from TC Williams in Va. We have been living in Alexandria, Va. for 4 1/2 years now. I was married to his father, but now we are divorce and still good friends. We lived in Central Texas for about 6 years and moved back to Alabama before coming here. I worked for a great Foster Care Agency which is how I came to the Washington DC area. I assisted in starting an office here in this region. ich involves recruiting and training potential foster parents and Identifying placements for children in need. I also work to make our agency know in the community and assist in obtaining contracts with state departments. I have been working in this field for 10 years in Feb. '09. Before than I worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor in the state of Texas through the department of corrections with women. I truly have enjoyed my work expierence thus far. I enjoy helping others and working with a population that most people have given up on.
