Kelly's Story
Life
I am currently a working actress in Atlanta, GA. My most recent roles have been the White Witch in the musical, "Narnia" and June Sanders in the musical, "Smoke on the Mountain". I just opened in the musical, "Cotton Patch Gospel" which is a touring show in and around the Atlanta area. In addition to my acting career, I am the Creative Programming Director at Dunwoody Community Church. I direct all of the musicals and dramas - I am also the lead female vocalist in our praise band! I have been married for 17 years and I have three beautiful sons - Hutch (12), Henry (10) and Hudson (8). My husband and I have a local band called "The Blend" - we love to rock out! My son Hutch wants to be a musican when he grows up. Yikes! I love my job(s) and my family - living in Atlanta is great! The weather is gorgeous! I have been in Atlanta since 1984. orld. When I graduated, I moved to NYC to be on Broadway! Alas, I took a cruise ship job in Hawaii during a very cold NY winter, and never went back. I spent several years performing on cruise ships as a singer/dancer - it was a blast! I met my husband Ladd in between ships and we were married in 1991. We formed a band called, "The Blend" and traveled the southeast for four years. When we had our first child, we stopped traveling and only performed locally. As our family grew, we finally purchased a home to put down roots. No more traveling for us! Since my kids are older I can now concentrate on my professional acting career. I am a founding member of the group, "Playright Productions". We successfully sold out our first run last summer - 6 weeks of sold out shows! 2007 promises to be a good year.
My sons are into football, baseball and guitar lessons! It's a very busy life, but very full and very blessed :)
