Man I cant believe its been 23 years. Looking though the list here so many names and memories pop up, hopefully if there is a 25 year reunion I can make it. I've finally stopped moving all over the globe and settled back down in New Mexico. But the urge of traveling keeps me going. I work from home for the Government so it gives me lots of time for my real Passion, Diving. I became a Pro. SCUBA diver a few years ago so now I have a reason to travel more. Fiji was great this year, some of the best diving yet. Ran into lots of white tip reef sharks and one tiger shark but he was to skiddish to come in close enough for a good photo. 2009 is going to bring alot of excitment. A few of us are opening up a new dive shop which will bring with it tons of trips to guide down in Mexico and the Caribbean. I think I'm going to try to ...Expand for more
make an Egypt trip this year and go dive the Red Sea.
Military Post:
After disbanding the 22nd Aviation Det. there was no way I was picking up and heading to Fort Drum. I stayed and got a job with Dyn. Corp. in Europe for a few years before heading back to the across the pond. I wish they would have let us finish that fight the first time we were there. Its messing up alot of good dive sites I cant get to anymore. LOL
I heard about Raymond and if anyone sees his wife send her my deepest sympathy. I hope we didnt lose to many more. I see Sids still Flying down in TX. Might need to have him take me to some good dive sites. LOL Damn I miss flying, but I guess I traded Air for Water.
For anyone still Active and deployed keep that thing in the air and make it back home safe !!! One of these years we will all have to get together and pretend we are at one of the 22nds famous Fly-ins.
