Kelly's Story

Life Life is wonderful...hope yours is too! School My high school bio...well for those of you who care to read this here goes: I was very involved in planning events for our senior class (class officer); I was an editor for the yearbook; I played softball; I took AP classes, and basically I tried to do it all. College College years...the best of my educational life! My friends were an essential part of the journey into adulthood, and I cherish these friendships more than any others of my life. ve, and lessons that I feel fortunate to have learned. Workplace Teaching is hard work though few people give credit to this fact. I love what I do, but I can say that in the 9 years I've been teaching it is getting tougher and tougher. Why? Budget contrainsts, kids who have no self-respect let alone respect for teachers, parents who befriend their children rather than parent them... Regardless, I will remain in education for my lifelong career. It is a calling...I have accepted. Also, I am a real estate agent; it is a bit of extra money from April through October and I enjoy working with adults and doing business--it rounds out my skills.
