Kelly's Story
Life
I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Psych in December of '95. Three weeks later, I was married to Roger Walburn (UDHS class of '91)-- my senior prom date who I dated throughout college-- who had just completed his degree at Carnegie Mellon. We have been married for 9.5 years! We live in Pittsburgh (close to Heinz Field --go Steelers!) and we have three beautiful boys, Noah (8), Joshua (6), and Matthew (3.5) who are the center of our lives. Roger is an engineer for a local steel company. I am a stay-at-home mom and couldn't imagine it any other way :) I spend busy, busy days running between their 3 schools, soccer practic...Expand for more
es, play dates, projects, appointments, and just about everything else that comes with 3 active boys! I am also evolving as an advocate for autism awareness, since our middle son's diagnosis 2 years ago. We are active in our church community (an incredible urban church of about 4,000+ on Pittsburgh's Northside) and we both sing in the choir. Ironic in a way, because Roger and I first met each other in choir at UDHS! We spend our free time doing projects at home (we moved to a bigger place last year), hanging out with friends, and spending time with our kids.
