Kelly's Story
From Augsburg American High School till now, good lord looking down to see if I have enough characters to tell my story. *Grin* I have been all over the US from the west coast to the east coast. I think being a military brat the traveling never stops! I lived in Austin pretty much after school for about 10 years and got educated with life and people. Then from there I have traveled abroad as well as Canada (I love Canada) and Mexico. It took me awhile to go back to school and still I am working on my Bachelors that is not too far off at TWU of course I ended up in Texas!... Thinking though knowing me I will end up either by the ocean or the lake, I can't get enough of sun and the tranquility of nature.
As far as athletics I went all the way with softball to a professional team in the early 80's, found out after breaking a finger I had enough of this, and then went into what most people at Augsburg didn't know about me is that I was and am a very good golfer. Then I took off with that and tried to qualify at the LPGA tour, that was a great vacation. There was more pressure there then I have ever experienced in my life, but it was awesome and now I am a professional instructor for Golf, an IT tech when I have to be and will be a teacher either in HS or JH very soon.
This is very short and I am sure whoever decides to read it or thankful for that. To all I knew I miss that time sometimes, it was a memory I cherish.

ve a beautiful family, my girlfriend Melissa is the most incredible woman and person I have ever met. She has been my inspiration for continuing school and believing no matter who you are or what age, you can always reach your dreams!
All the years I have lived since Augsburg High School, my foundation began there. It was a place I will remember that we were all one, and nothing touched us in our group. I found out the world can be cruel and uncaring, but as long as you live as you are, and be the best you can be, nothing can touch you!

I miss the volleyball, basketball and softball trips. I remember being in K-town for Volleyball and now I can say it, our coach was no where to be found, and so we all sneaked out of the school we were staying and went to the bowling alley and then from there went to an abandoned castle, that was spooky as hell. We never got caught and it was great. I remember the Volleyball championships in Wurzburg in the airplane hanger every team in Germany there, it was the biggest slumber party I have ever been too.....I could go on and on....I know one of the things I want to do before I go to the other plain of life, is going back to Germany and walking some of the steps I did many years ago!
Memories are precious and to all I knew I am so happy and glad that I did get to spend time in my life with some of the greatest people I have ever known! Augsburg Apaches Rock!!!!!
