Kelly's Story
Life
I got married September 20,2004 and I am very happy. We own a house in Marseilles and have 2 boys. I worked at Kroger's and i was there for almost 15 years. I now work at Clover. I also co-own a computer business in Ottawa with my husband. During the cold months we spend a lot of time indoors or going to the movies with the kids or by ourselves. During the warm months we are out on the river in our boat. We camp right on the islands, swim and even fish. I enjoy my time with my friends and family and I enjoy life every second.
School
I guess the best time that I recall is the time when a bunch of my friends got together and decided to go through McDonalds backwards. I was the driver and we pulled in and ordered and then went to the window to pay and the employees there got a huge kick out of it. And then we went to get our food and they laughed at us there, too. You can't do that now, with the new set up and all. It was the funniest day I had in high school that we all g...Expand for more
ot a kick out of.
Workplace
I worked at Oogies and that job sucked. I worked at K-mart when it was on the South side of Ottawa and I got fired from there, cause I hardly showed up for work. I worked at a girl scout camp in Ottawa for the summer and it was an awesome job, I worked in the kitchen and worked with the kids. I finally ended up at at Kroger's (a grocery store) and have been there for almost 15 years and moved around from one department to another. I've worked in Video (when we had one), produce and checking. I've met a lot of new friends and working with the public is a hard job to do, but it is also a lot of fun. Well I left Kroger's, after almost 15 years I have had enough and wanted something different. Time for a change. I now work at Clover Technologies and I like it. Factory work is different, but it is something new and I am beginning to enjoy what I do. I look at it this way, I get weekends off and I don't have to ask for days off to see my boys play in sports.
