Kelly's Story
Life thus far.....
I left Clearlake in 85 and got married in 87, and divorced in 2001. I opened a beauty salon in the Bay Area and have owned the business for 23 years. It is a "green" company and I'm proud of that. I wanted to leave the smallest footprint with my business and have been locally recognized for the environmental efforts I have implemented.
I am a multi-engine commercial pilot w/ instrument ratings, high performance and high altitude endorsements and a CFII rating. I'm currently flying a King Air B200 for a Part 135 charter company and flight instructing in single engines as well. I love to fly and am excited to be teaching others. I also work standby for air ambulance organ transplant transportation.
I live in the SF Bay Area on the peninsula and am blessed with a home, two Boxers, and a cat.
I've become an avid flyfisher and camp and fish often. My escapes to be by myself and with my dogs are the Upper Sac or the McCloud to rebalance and connect with what's really important in my life. I also mountain bikes and ride with a group of women called the Dirt D...Expand for more
ivas. I like technical singletrack. This year I became certified as an open water diver and dove to depths of 120ft off the coast of Cuba. I've fallen down cliffs, crossed paths with rattlers, been stuck in whitewater, broken down, busted up, been stuck in mud in my truck, life kicks ass sometimes and it's all good!
I'm a back country powder and black diamond skiier and Montana is my annual backyard escape for the last 18 years. Squaw Valley is my local getaway.
I've been single now for 12 years and feel like I'm living the best time of my life. I've done some traveling since my divorce and the experiences have been empowering and gratifying. I am blessed with super cool friends that know the meaning of honor, ethics, and integrity.
I'm healthy, and have stayed reasonably fit. I trail run a few days a week to stay in shape and keep my dog happy.
Sometimes I face the mirror and just smile knowing there is a story behind each line and gray hair. I have some wild stories. Some of you all know that ;-)
