Kelly's Story
Wow twenty years!!! Unbelievable!! Since graduation, I went to nursing school and then for my degree in nursing from Daemen College. I have been a RN at Millard Fillmore Hospital for over 17 years. I have worked in many departments within the hospital, my favorites being in critical care. I am currently in the Open Heart Unit.
I met my husband in May 1995 at The Pier--don't laugh, it was at a Kiss the Summer Hello Party!! I married Brian Finn, a South Buffalo boy, on October 25, 1997. Our son, Patrick, was born February 17, 2000 and then we were "blessed" with twins, Kathryn and Kevin, on October 7th, 2004.

eartburn which escalated quickly, my husband was diagnosed with advanced stomach cancer. We were told he had 10 months to live. Chemotherapy started immediately and through the support of family, friends and MANY prayers my husband had an amazing summer. Then in September the cancer started growing outside the stomach. My husband lost his battle on November 11th, 2007, just eight months after his diagnosis.
So things are pretty challenging but my kids keep me going. I joke that the most unfair thing about this, aside from being a single parent with 3 yr. old twins, is that I am still fat!!!
I can't wait to see people at our 20th reunion!! I hope all is well with all our WSW alumni!! Love, Kelly
