Kelly's Story
Life
After FVHS, I went to Goldenwest College and got my A.A in graphic design. I promptly got a job as a graphic designer. I loved woking in this field for the next 10 years. Meanwhile, I married the love of my life in 1985. We moved to northern California in 1986. We had our daughter in 1991. Born prematurely, she was extremely ill for the next 2 years. I really don't remember much of that time. I retired from graphic design to care for our medically fragile child. Now she's 18 and hasn't been fragile in years. Thank God! indergarten thru 3rd grade children with special needs. And I also work part time with my husband at his structural engineering business. We recently built our dream home where we live with our 4yr. old Laboador Retreiver.
I have a few happy memories of high school like anyone else, but I have to say that my recent years have been way more fun than high school ever was. It's interesting that when you're in it, it seems so important, so huge - but it's really not. It's such a tiny part of who I really am today. Having a high school daughter has reminded me of this and enlightened me.
