I am originally from the state of WA and grew up in Issaquah. I graduated from Issaquah High School in 2000. After high school, I moved down to AZ to try and play football at a Junior College which did not go as according to plan. . While finishing up my last quarter at UW, I started working for John L. Scott. I have been with the company full time since I graduated.
I am lucky to say that I have the most amazing wife. Rachel and I got married April 9th 2011 just outside of New Orleans at Oak Alley Plantation. We have three dogs, Big Max, Lil Max, and Oakley. They are great dogs, but at the same time they can be complete terrors! Ever since Rachel and I met, her dad has got me into bird hunting. I really enjoy heading south to Louisiana to go play out in the marsh.
Life likes to throw curveballs at us! One month after I asked Rachel to marry me, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. This was in April of 2010. After a fun 6 months of Chemotherapy followed up with 1 month of radiation, I am happy to say that I am in remission. After going through something like this, it makes you realize what is really important to you. Everything happens for a reason, and this experience has made me that much closer to family and friends.".
