l ever meet! Ask anybody who knows me. If I didn't live out in the country where I can enjoy all of God's creatures everyday, then I'd be miserable. I wake up every single day to a backyard full of deer. I have 5 dogs. Sometimes they like to chase the deer away and sometimes they'll just be lazy and ignore them. I have 2 horses. I feed the birds all year around. I feed hummingbirds in the summer and they flock around my front porch. They're fun to watch and it's fun to watch the reaction of people who have never seen so many hummingbirds in one place!
I love to work in the yard. I have about every kind of flower you can think of in my yard.
I'm a clogger. My daughter (Ally Michelle) and I have been performing with the dance team Clogging Thunder since 1999. You can find us on Youtube. We perform at festivals and events and do competitions also in Nashville, Tn, Branson, Mo & other places. No we do not wear wooden shoes! And it is so annoying when people ask that question. I mean, seriously. Some people who don't know the difference might call in tap dancing. But it's not. It's way cooler!!
A simple quick definition: Clogging is a dance that is done in time with the music - to the downbeat usually with the heel keeping rhythm...But really it's so much more than that! And the great think about clogging is that it doesn't discriminate on age! It's fun for everyone. No matter if you're 2 or 102!
We dance to all kinds of music. Country, bluegrass, rock, pop, hip hop and the list goes on. If it's a catchy song and has a good beat we love it!
