They just promised it would be worth it.
take chances, take a lot of them because honestly, no matter where you end up and with who, it always ends up...just the way it should be. your mistakes make who you are. you learn and grow with each choice you make. everything is worth it. say how you feel, always be you, and be okay with it.
the thing is, it's hard to let go of that fairy tale entirely because almost everyone has that smallest bit of faith and hope that one day they would open their eyes and it would all come true. at the end of the day, faith is a funny thing. it turns up when you least expect it. it's like one day you realize that the fairy tale is slightly different than your dreams. the castle, well it may not be a castle, and it's not so important that it's happily ever after- just that it's happy right now. see, once in a while, once in a blue moon, people will surprise you. and once in a while, people may even take your breath away.
never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. but if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. if you must steal, steal away from bad company. if you must cheat, cheat death. and if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away.
