exciting and rewarding---I assist people with disabilities to regain their lives..
After i dropped out of phs in 1950 i joined the navy and it changed my view of life and of myself. the navy convinced me that i was, indeed, intelligent and capable of being a successful academic. my misfortune came when i returned from a long deployment and my first wife announced that she had to go home to pns and think about our marriage. well, that was the first lie among countless deceptions. when i came to pns to help her find a lawyer, she falsely placed an arrest warrant against me which stated that i had thre...Expand for more
atened to kill her and her parents. she also asked if she could borrow my car so she could attend a friend's wedding. she never returned it.
i was forced to pay all of our joint bills and to add injury to humiliation, she cancelled my automobile insurance and took the cash. florida law required me to pay for both of our lawyers. the finale came when i discovered that the reason she left me was because of an affair she was having with a helicopter pilot in a sister key west squadron . she subsequently married him!
when i left the navy, graduated from uwf and went on to fsu law school, thence to uga grad school and finally jobs in education and rehabilitation services.
