Ken's Story

Life After HS worked nights at gas stations and the Post Office to get through the U of W ending up with a BA in economics and an MA in Public Admin. Had a career with the Govt as an agency regional chief economist, but left that to start a business. I retired as President and CEO of Consulting Economist Inc and am doing fine. Along the way I became a licensed airplane pilot and later a licensed Merchant Marine Officer. Nancy and I each have three children and all are grown, gone, and successful. dchildren and all of them live within a few miles of us. I attended Garfield 2 years and finished at Franklin. I have been somewhat out of touch and I often wonder about some of the kids I went to school with. I felt at home and made some real friends. I have written two novels with one of the (IN THE COMPANY OF FISHERS) being more successful than I could have imagined. Most recently I had a role on the NBC Grimm TV series. We live in Beaverton Oregon is our home base but we also enjoy our beach house on Puget Sound. Hello to all.

Great air museum at Port Townsend. Lots of planes and a local restoration shop. Smell of the place and sounds of the old planes make us want a plane again. Lots of memorable collectibles.
Saturday concert at Kingston. Kickoff is bluegrass mountain music. Front row seat. No charge. Parking free. Small towns rock
Born to be Wild taking the stage. Free near the front. Couple of big names in the band. Probably all deaf. Still not too old for open air rock concerts. Cool or what....in Kingston
2000 people in the entire town and 5000 at the parade???
Three pileated woodpeckers chomping up our driveway this morning.
Of course. Every parade needs a farm tractor.
A typical local Kingston business.
When you like flowers you have flowers. The back yard this morning.
Your old truck plus some foil and you have the parade highlight float.
Legs got my attention.
