Ken's Story
I don't know what happened to the story I had posted before? Is this a different "classmates"? Oh well, Born & Raised in El Paso, went to Hercules Elementary, Magoffin and then Edgemere middle, then Eastwood, class of 71.
Always into music, girls, but wasn't one of the bright lights in high school. Worked in construction, in restaurants, and played music in bars, did the same in Wichita Falls and in Austin, and Portland Oregon after moving there in 76.
Moved to Los Angeles in 79 with a supportive girlfriend and a recording contract in hand. It didn't work out, but had a few other "times at bat" and published a couple of songs, got some in some movie soundtracks and one, "Affection" in a TV show and on an album by The New Monkees, it was also recorded by three other bands.

he language and traveled pretty often in France and The UK, put out an indy CD in 94, toured the US, coast to coast to promote it, met a California girl in 95, became a dad in 97 and a husband in 99, health issues in 2006, laid off in 2007 and never really got back into the movie business, I'm 58, got bad eyes and a suspect ticker, not exactly what they're looking for nowadays. All in all it's been a pretty great ride. I have an amazing daughter and a loving wife, loyal friends and a kick ass band.
I live at the beach, drive a convertible, boogie board while my daughter surfs, I've survived some serious health issues and still look and feel young sexy and ready to rock. What the hell do I have to complain about?
