Ken Davis:  

I was a freshman at UT in 1954. After my junior year, I had run out of money, so I enlisted in the Army be a linguist. After a year in Monterey, CA attending the Defense Language School, I graduated as a Serbo/Croatian (Yugoslav) linguist. After serving a year in northern Italy near Venice, then a year in southern Germany between Munich and Salzburg, Sergeant Davis left the Army and returned to UT, I graduated in 1962 with a BBA in marketing an advertising, I was hired by a large company in Chicago, but after working for them for six months I quit and got an officer's commission in the Air Force in 1963 where I served for 23 wonderful years with never a bad assignment. I began as an Intelligence Officer then served the last 12 years on the computer side of intelligence support. My assignments were Denver, SEA, Colorado Springs, San Antonio, D.C.
