Ken's Story
Life
After Banning I attended Harbor JC for two semesters, no degree, got married in 1963. Went to work for Pacific Tel. Moved to New Orleans in 1968. Three kids later moved to Denver 1970, still working for Ma Bell. Divorce 1971, remarried in 1972. Still with my wife now 33yrs, had son in 1978. Left Mountain Bell in 1973 worked many jobs in communications till I got back with Ma Bell in 1979. Went from Mtn Bell to US West then to Qwest till now. Have ten acre ranch in San Louis Valley, Col, we will retire there soon. We...Expand for more
have ten grand children. I still do some art work now and then, black belt in karate, played alot of softball, become a Catholic 1983 am in the Knights of Columbus. My wife,Dolores Gallegos, of 33 years is a native of Colorado has a large family which is great because I'm an only child. My job at Qwest is in VDSL, Video Digital Sevice Line, fiber optics, high speed internet and voice. I'm blessed with a wonderful Wife, family, a good job and good health.
