Since graduating college, I have worked as a New York City- based keyboard player, composer, and conductor. I have played piano in over a dozen Broadway show orchestras including "Damn Yankees" with Jerry Lewis, "Guys and Dolls" with Nathan Lane and the long running Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, "Cats" with which I also toured. From 2006-2007, I worked on the Phil Collins musical "Tarzan" and currently work part time at the mega-hit show "Wicked".
Other career highlights include piano work on two albums, "All of "Me"(1991) and "Naturally"(1992) on the BMG Novus label for jazz guitarist John Pizzarelli. From 1991-1993, I performed live with John's trio at almost every major jazz festival in the United States, the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, Italy and at the Blue Note jazz clubs in Tokyo and New York. luded the Today Show, Good Morning America, and Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops orchestra.
I appeared on camera with screen credit as Mia Farrow's accompanist in Woody Allen's 1987 film "Radio Days". I also worked as a recording supervisor on Woody Allen's 1996 release, "Everyone Says I Love You".
Throughout the 1980s, I played on television theme and background recordings for CBS Sports and CBS News, as well as daytime shows for CBS and NBC, which led to a five-year stint as a staff television composer for Signature Sound Music Productions, writing, playing, and co-producing background music for daytime dramas "Another World" and "Guiding Light". I also played for eight years in the live television orchestra of the Daytime Emmy Awards.
In 2007, I joined a concert tour backing up legendary Classic Rock singers Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow; Deep Purple), Eddie Money, Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad), Robin Zander (Cheap Trick) and Buck Dharma (Blue Oyster Cult).
