Ken's Story
For those of you that knew me in school, seems i was always involved in an organization that had a uniform, be at scouts or air cadets. That didn't change much afterwards. After graduating, i joined the Canadian Armed Forces as an airframe technician, and spent over five years, many of them at sea, putting sea king helicopters together to keep them flying. Must have worked a bit, as i see they are still flying today, at least most of them. Seems Red Green and i have one thing in common.....duct tape! starting as a member of the RCMP and eventually the Miramichi Police Force. I left policing in 2004 for medical reasons, and have been with the New Brunswick Department of Public Safety since. After a stint as a liquor inspector ( that had its interesting moments) I became the Regional Emergency Management Coordinator for the NB Emergency Measures Organization, responsible for disaster management for the North Shore of New Brunswick. What with hurricanes, train derailments, and the never ending snowstorms it has been an interesting and exciting career move.
