Ken's Story
Life
Q: What do you do with your free time:
A: Well first of all  what the heck is Âfree timeÂ. Like most of us working adults, with kids, there does not seem to be much free time. I still enjoy working out and Âtrying to stay as fit as possible. I played on a menÂs soccer team up until about two years ago when the knees decided that contact sports was probably not the thing for me anymore. I also enjoy traveling and spending time with friends, watching the Ravens (unfortunately losing more than we fans are used to). I still enjoy going to the beach, swimming, and hiking/camping as often as possible.
Q: Current relationship status:
A: About five years ago I became a single dad. Although being a single parent is difficult and challenging  I can honestly say I am happier than I have been in a long time.
Q: About children:
A: I have two wonderful daughters. My oldest is 17 and preparing to head off to Villa Julie College in the fall 2008. She is a wonderful kid who excels at just about everything she gets into. As a High School Junior last year she led her High School softball team to the CLASS 2A state semifinals  so we are hoping for big things in the 2008 season from the team. My youngest daughter is 14 and also very active in softball and soccer playing on local travel teams for both sports.
Q: Indoor hobbies you enjoy:
A: Although I get Âansy if I am indoors for too long  I do enjoy my quiet time indoors by watching television, Âplaying on the computer, and reading.
Q: Outdoor activities you enjoy:
A: I have always been an Âoutdoor kinda guyÂ. Love going to the beach, swimming, playing a variety of sports, hiking, camping.
Q: Describe your current living arrangement:
A: About 13 years ago I was fortunate enough to be able to build my dream home. I am currently still living in that house in Carroll County, Maryland. I have a little over 3 acres with a very nice home.
Q: Country you live in today:
A: Wh...Expand for more
ile I currently reside in Carroll County Maryland I have had the opportunity to live, and travel, to many places outside of the states. I would say my favorite time out of the states was the three years that I lived in England. I lived about 50 miles north of London  so on weekends  catching the train (you donÂt want to drive in London) was an easy thing to do. I have many of great memories from living there.
Q: Kind of pet(s) you have:
A: None although I would really like to have a big black lab  if that counts. ; )
Q: Your favorite type of movie:
A: Okay  expecting some possible flack on this one  but  have to say I love romantic comedies. One of my favorites is ÂSweet Home AlabamaÂ. That movie made me wish I had grown up in some small Alabama town. Okay well Reese Witherspoon may have had something to do with it as well  need I say more guysÂ

Q: Your friends would describe you as:
A: Friends would say I am outgoing, friendly, fun. (I think)Â
Q: Kind of car you drive:
A: I drive a Toyota Highlander SUV.
Q: Your dream vacation:
A: Dream Vacation would have to be spending a few weeks on some exotic island being able to just hang out on the beach each day.
Q: Your biggest pet peeve:
A: Hmmm  not sure I have one. Lets see  really donÂt care for smoking. Well itÂs not the smoking that bothers me  just when smokers are inconsiderate of those around them. Not sure if that is a pet peeve or not.
Q: Describe your political views:
A: Conservative  Republican. The thought of Hillary in the White House in 2008 Âwigs me outÂ. ; )
Q: Why you're here at Classmates:
A: Great question. I think it would be neat to touch base with folks who I have not heard from over the last 20 years plus. I have enjoyed tremendously touching base with a few people via this site who went to GBHS - over 25 years ago. OMG  where did that time go? So, feel free to be in touch  hope to hear from some of you.
