Ken's Story
My story after high school is not as exciting as some folks I know. I did not go off to save the world or invent any medical break through. I worked after 77 and went off and on to college. I got married in 83 and had my first son April 14, 1986. I have to say next to my wedding this was the most important thing that had ever happened in my life. Me being the rock and roll fan I am and wanting to scar my son for life named him Keith. It turns out I did pretty good at it, he has his own band now in Nashville and is going to graduate Bellmont University next Friday. The second blessing came in my life 3 years later when my second son was born. Christopher, I did not try to scar him for life. r me not knowing how I was going to raise 2 boys on my own. We managed somehow with help from a lot of people and both my sons have grown up to be very good boys. Much better that I ever was to my parents, I loved both of them very much but was a hand full for both of them. My parents passed away soon after my second son was born so we had to make it on our own. If you know a single parent out there be nice to them it is the hardest job in the world. I had worked in accounting most of the time after my sons were born but grew tired of it. So in 1992 I went back to school to learn computer programming. I went to Gwinnett Tech and got my second degree AAT in computer science. While I was still in school my current employer hired me, Peachtree Software and i am still there 14 years later. A little older and a lot more bolder.
