Life I live in Myrtle Beach South Carolina and have been here for the past 17 years, in June it became the longest residence of my life. I have three beautiful daughters, Emily 19 is a sophomore at West Chester University in PA, Rose 17 is a senior at Socastee High school in Myrtle Beach and Molly is a sophomore at the same school. My loving companion of 28 years, my wife for 20 years and the mother of our daughters passed away in March of 06 after a short but fierce battle with lung cancer. I miss her every day, the way she smiled the way she laughed and most of all the way she loved life but I get to see her each time I look into our children’s eyes and for that I am forever grateful. We moved to SC from northern New Hampshire where we owned a small motel, While working and living in New Hampshire we enjoyed skiing, hunting and starting our new family. Mark Twain once wrote “the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco” I believe he meant to say New Hampshire. Prior to that I lived in Boston Massachusetts for nine years working in real estate and before that spent eight years in South Florida going to college and working on yachts. Of course you all know where I lived before that, in the little brown two story house half way down the big hill on Elmbrook Village Rd. My wife Joan started a Spanish newspaper in 2000 and I helped her with it part time until she passed away, continuing to publish regularly since then, I have often laughed, thinking back to high school Spanish and the classes I slept through, who would have ever guessed!
