More about Ken:"My name is Ken Yarmesch and I live in the Tampa, Florida area. I graduated from The University of Florida in 1996, after a ten-year-break from high school. My major in college was a BS in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a minor degree in Computer Science.
I was originally from Cleveland, Ohio where I graduated from high school. I had gotten married right out of high school, and started working at a Radio Shack at a near-by shopping mall. I was able to climb the organizational ladder very quickly and became a store manager. It was during my employment at Radio Shack that I had learned about computers, and became quite successful at selling them to the public.
In 1990, I moved to Jacksonville Florida with my family, and seemed to go from job to job every other year. So, I decided to go back to school to get a degree. I applied...Expand for more
to The University of Florida, and was accepted. The first year there, I received a scholarship, and excelled in my studies. On December 21st 1996, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree with a major degree in Finance, and a minor degree in Computer Science. I also became a big Gators fan, and enjoyed watching their games when possible.
After graduating, I moved out to Las Vegas, Nevada with my younger brother where I worked in accounting at a gaming manufacturer. There I used my interest in mathematics and finance, enjoying the career that I was pursuing. However, shortly there after, my brother had pasted away from complications due to Limes Disease. His death had deeply affected me and I missed being with my family. As a result, I moved back to Florida.
Once I moved back to Florida, I was fortunate to have another brother who had helped get me a job with his company as an Assistant Controller. He had also went back to school and got his MBA. After seeing what he had learned while getting his degree, I also decided to get my MBA. On October 31st of 2007, I had graduated from the University of Phoenix with my Master of Business Administration degree and a minor degree in Finance.".
