Ken's Story
Life
I'll keep it short and sweet.
I went to Ohio University, graduated in 1990 with a journalism degree. A buddy of mine and I backpacked around Europe for a while after graduation.
I worked as a sportswriter at the Mansfield News Journal from 1991-93, then at the Lima News from 1993-98.
While I was in Lima, I met my wife and we were married in 1996. She had a son, Michael, from a previous marriage. We had a daughter together, Lindsey, in 1998....Expand for more
That same year I was hired by the Columbus Dispatch. We moved to Grove City in 1999, where we still live. I covered the outdoors beat for a year, then the Cincinnati Bengals for five years. Two years ago, I began covering Ohio State football.
Michael is in eighth grade now, a skateboarder type. He also runs track. Lindsey is a second-grader and playing soccer. It's a good life.
I hope to make at least part of the reunion activities this summer.
