Ken's Story

Life I grew up and lived in Lombard till '74, in Lisle & Wheaton '74-'76 (while at C.O.D.), in Carbondale '76-'78 (college, S.I.U.), in Woodridge part of '78, in Houston, TX '78-'79, married in '79 to Karen Esposito - G.E. class of 75 (but now separated), in Lombard, Schaumburg, & Roselle '79-'95, in Westminster (Denver) Colorado '95-2002, in Florida for a short while in 2003, back in Lombard since 2003. I'm self-employed as a remodeling carpenter contractor & handyman (Piet Ventures - since 1980), also did home inspections while in Colorado (1995-2002), became certified computer repair tech in 2003, an eBay trader and registered trader assistant (since 2003), and do media conversion to digital (since 2008). I also owned a tree service (1986-92) and was a partner in a painting company (1988-95). Blessed with one daughter, born 1989, and one son, born 1993. many of my traits, I'd wonder if they were really mine! But I'm glad they are! School In high school I was a long-haired (see my 'then' graduation day photo), class clown type and spent much time cutting and exploring the world than showing up for classes, although I usually came 'TO' school every morning. If it wasn't for Co-op and Mario Capecci (getting credits for jobs I always had), some summer school, correspondence courses, many late year 'ninth hour' make-up gyms and the outright mercy of Mr. Hutt and some others, I'd have never graduated! I guess they were all glad to be finally rid of me, having tired of my disruptions (when I actually came) or writing my name on those (non)-attendance cards the days that I didn't show! LOL!! Then I went to C.O.D. and applied myself and actually made the Dean's and President's Lists, allowing me to get into S.I.U. where I majored in business management and also studied psychology because it's so interesting.
