Kendra's Story
Life
I attended Chico State, then moved to Sacramento to work. Have been married for 40 years to my husband, Wayne. We have three children, ages 28, 33, and 37. In 2003, I retired from the State of California, where I worked for 16 years. Also am a local writer and in the 1990s served as the editor of two monthly publications.
I've always been active in my community, serving for many years on a PTA board, with Scouts, and as a founder and board member of a neighborhood association...Expand for more
. Now my volunteer efforts include photographing headstones in local cemeteries, for placement online to aid genealogy and historical researchers. Genealogy is of great interest to me.
Wayne and I love to travel and in the last few years have visited many East Coast and western states, as well as Italy, Canada, and Mexico. In 2008, we enjoyed an Alaska cruise and accompanying visit to Denali Park.
I'll be at the 45th reunion and hope to see many old friends there. --updated 1/08
