Kenn's Story
Life:
Left James Marshall for BYU in '66. Met Barb and the story is below. Graduated from BYU in Jan '71 and started Aviation training in Pensacola, FLA. Feb '72, earned my Naval Flight Officer wings and went to NAS Alameda, CA for my first squadron flying EKA-3B aircraft in VietNam. Second squadron at NAS Whidbey Island, Washington in 1974 to 1979. Made three aircraft carrier tours, the first to the Gulf of Tonkin (USS Ranger), second to the Mediterranean Sea (USS Forrestal) and the third to the Persian Gulf/Indian Ocean (USS Enterprise). 365 Carrier Landings. 1979-1983 University of Washington Dental School. Served in Rosebud, South Dakota from 1983-1985 in the Indian Health Service to pay back a college scholarship. 1985-1986, IHS in Coulee Dam, Washington. 91. Then to San Diego. Exodontia training 1991-1992. One year at NAS Coronado as Oral Surgery Dept Head. 1994-1998 Naval Medical Center, San Diego for training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. 1998-2000, Senior Dental Officer and Battle Group Oral Surgeon onboard USS Constellation to Persian Gulf. Back to Marine Corps Recruit Center in San Diego as the Oral Surgery Dept. Head until I retired in Feb, 2003. Then moved to Vancouver, Washington where I work for Willamette Dental Group in Portland, Oregon. After 14 years at Willamette Dental, I retired on 31 March 17.

Barbara is from Berkeley, California.
My Job
Managing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in Portland, Oregon for Willamette Dental Specialists. Retired from the Navy in 2003 with 27 years active duty and 6 years reserves. We live in Vancouver, Washington. Retired 31 March 2017. LDS Mission to Philippines 19 April 2017 for 23 months.
