Life
Worked in Land Surveying since 1964. Registered Professional Land Surveyor since 1976. Married to my beautiful wife Judy in 1990 and we have 3 great children (now adults 50 to 55). Have 6 super grandchildren 10 to 35+ years. Judy and I retired in 2005 and have been doing whatever we please. All the grandchildren live some distance away so we spend a lot of time on the road visiting. I had a 1967 Chevelle, Hot Rod. I had a bit of help building it from my brother Bruce (he passed away in 2019). He and I usually did the Cruise on the Bricks in Flint, stop down and visit. June 2012 update, just returned from a National Chevelle only show in Nashville,TN (drove it down and back 635 miles each way). Received the Presidents Choice trophy, I was blown away. Update, gave the Chevelle to my son.
If anyone out there is wondering about my brother Bruce, he passed in 2019 If you are looking for my sister Billie, she suffered for 10+ years from neuropathy and other debilitating diseases. Unable to cope with the pain she ended her life in November 2004. She was beautiful til the end.

Just purchased another toy in Oct.2013, a 1956 Chevy (similar to the blue and white one I had my senior year), it's a Black 210 2 door post, a Fuel Injected 383 roller motor, Muncie 4 speed and posi. Bruce pointed out to me that we now have the school colors. Mine is Black and his 56 Chevy is White !!!!!!Go figure !!!!! I guess it's in our blood. Can you tell we never lost our love of old cars !!!!!! His son has kept the 56.
Not sure what to do with my 56 yet. Have a 26 year old granddaughter who also likes old 50's and 60's cars!!!! May be a good candidate ! A Computer Engineer working on her Masters.

ar old grand daughter graduated from a University in Texas,is a radio[igist. The 11 year old grand daughter is doing well and going on 21 !! Can you tell I'm a proud grandpa !!!!
Another thing I have gotten involved in is the Crim 5K race, 3 of 4 years. I always walked a lot with my job and missed that since my knee replacement some 5 years ago and now a partial on the other knee. I tried the 5K walk in Bay City and Flint. So far I have finished 3rd, 1st and 2nd in my age group at the Crim. If I could loose 30 or 40 pounds and train more often maybe I could do even better !!!! HaHa
Not many people on ClassMates any more and no one seems to respond to messages sent trough the site. Ended my membership but recently renewed for a couple more years.
Hope to keep in contact with those who have given me their email address and hope to see you at any reunion, if we have one. If you are now able to view the 63 year book, that's my book and they try to sell me a copy every month!! Joined Ancestry last year and with DNA check found out I am not really a Dunton. No Dunton DNA in my body. Found 3 new siblings and life is still good. Sold business in Dec.2020 and retired for the 3rd and hope final time !!! HaHa Still retained my State License so I can do a job or two or consult. Just testified in court for about the 8th or 10th time, what fun. I'm batting 1000%, none of my clients lost in court when I testify. I had the attorneys and Judge laughing and have been told many times, I should have been an Attorney !! That would have been a riot !! Wish Danny B. was still around, he helped me realize my potential.
Latest update, Have been suffering with memory loss for about a year now!! I can remember what happened before I was 2 years old like it was yesterday but sometimes can't remember yesterday!! I'm dealing with it pretty well so far. I'm on meds now and doing pretty well. Told Judy when I can't find my way back home she can have the car keys!! Just purchased a condo on a golf course cause Judy likes to golf, I do some. Wanted to get her somewhere that is easier to maintain for when I go off the deep end. Ha, Ha Ken
