Kenneth's Story
Looking back over my life I must say that I have had a most adventure some and interesting time.
After Pacific I studied engineering at Valley College until enlisting in the Army in Feb.68. I was stationed in Miami, Fl on a Air Defense Missile Site until Dec.71 when I was discharged.
I met a Baptist Missionary family in Miami and in Jan.71 my life took a major change I never expected. I trusted Christ as my Savior and gave my life to Him for service. I married 1 of the missionary's daughters,Nancy Saunders, went to Chattanooga, TN for Bible training in Aug72. I graduated from college in 76 and Seminary in 83. We were led into missionary work in 88 and went to St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands where I taught in a Bible College until 2000. There are numerous adventures that go with that time period from spear...Expand for more
fishing, scuba diving, hurricanes, rebuilding churches and our school plus other things that makes that time period most memorable.
In Sept 2001, 2 days before 9/11, we moved to the country of Trinidad and Tobago where we have been ever since. Learning a new culture, adjusting to a new kind of "English" and food, making new friends while seeing peoples lives changing has been most rewarding for us. The least I can say is, "God has been good to us."
We have 3 girls, all married and 10 wonderful grand kids plus numerous others in Trinidad that we count as our own. Our plans are to keep serving God until we die.
Our life story and adventures are to numerous to tell here. Anyone interested feel free to contact me. I would love to share more but also want to hear from my old friends to hear about your life.
