Kenneth's Story
Life
I was born at a young age. I went through public school and did pretty well. Then there was undergraduate and graduate school--then 10 months of post- graduate work (for professional development). In undergraduate school, I met the Love of my Life--and she had the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen on a female. (She still has pretty blue eyes). The Love of my Life is now my wife of 36 years and I love her now, more than when I first married her!
At 22, I really wanted to join the U.S. Coast Guard, but they were only taking 18 year olds (as the Coast Guard recruiter told me). At 25, I had a profound, life-changing experience, when I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. The Love of my Life and I are evangelical Method...Expand for more
ists (within the United Methodist denomination) and are active in our church. The Love of my Life and I were blessed with a beautiful, strawberry-blond daughter, in 1975. At 22, she earned her Bachelor of Science-Nursing degree and is an R.N. (and highly valued, as a nurse). She has been married now for 5 years, to a fine man.
In 1998, I survived thyroid cancer/thyroid surgery and I am doing excellent! I have been cancer-free since the 1998 surgery! We live in a city that we are very happy in--and we reference our city by our church. We have our home mortgage paid off. Many other things have happened, in my life, which I am probably forgetting to put in this bio. My advice to you: help people, love people, love Jesus and do good work.
