Kenneth's Story
Life
Hello to all my fellow classmates of '79! Can't wait to see you all at the 25th reunion this November (2004). Can you believe it?! I spent pretty much half of that interval being young and restless. Lived in all kinds of exotic places like Ruston, LA, Sedro-Woolley, WA, etc. (And seen just about everyplace in between.) It was about 12 years ago, after looking far and wide, out in Wash. State that I was smitten by a blonde, hazel-eyed country girl named Tammie. She was (is) tough, smart, and most importantly, big-hearted. Don't ask what she sees in me, but we've been together ever since. We share a another blonde, hazel-eyed 6-year old son together, Elijah. He is just like his mom, tough (hockey player), smart (wins trophies in chess tournaments), and big-hearted (all kids are). Get ready, sappy comment coming... both T...Expand for more
ammie and Elijah make me a very happy guy.
In 1999, after Tammie graduated from Washington State University with her BSN, we made the big move back to CT (we wanted to take care of my sick step-dad, plus Tammie got a nice job-offer from St. Ray's Hospital) So we are settled down here in Hamden (no more young and restless, obviously) in a nice, quiet neighborhood, having barbeques and getting ready to enjoy the next 25 years. In between, for fun, you'll catch me coaching football with fellow classmates Steve Canning and Dom Rapini. If you see a burgundy red Chevy pick up truck with a Wash State football sticker on it, that would be me. Stop me and say hello.
I hope all of you are doing well. I miss you so many of you. And let's not forget our fellow classmates who have passed away, at much too young ages.
Thanks, KJN
