Kenneth's Story
Attended St Anthony's (Commonwelth Ave) Elementry school in the Bronx.
Played little league during those years. Right field and firstbaseman.
(My Brother and I just attended a reunion there recently - it was
great to see the old place and Fr. Ford!)
Attended Cardinal Spellman High School in the Bronx. Joined several clubs.
Most notably the 'Special Games' club which I took lots of abuse for but
I enjoyed this club most. I especial loved Mr Kelleher, our moderator and English teacher. He was always a good time to be around.
Attended Fordham University in the Bronx. Majored in Computer Science.
Met a large group of friends who I still see often till this day. We attend each others weddings, baptism, confirmations, etc.
This was a great time of my life.
Using this great wealth of knowledge and continuing strong in my CATHOLIC faith.
Two important things happenned at this point. 1. my bother Robert became a priest
(Pastor now of Holy Rosery in the Bronx) and 2. I got married to my wonderful wife Susan
I got a job as a computer programmer in a large company called
Michael Anthony's Jewelers in ...Expand for more
Mt Vernon, NY. I advance to systems analsyt.
I left and became Computer Manager of Linzer Product in Queens, NY.
A another company took over years later and I left and became a consultant for Capital Software in NYC.
The owners disbanded the company I took at position at one of our customers,
Leo Wolleman, Inc. in NYC were I rose to become MIS Director. I continue at this position till this day.
During this time I purchased a house in Westchester County, NY then moved to another but kept the old house.
Then while everyone was spending like crazy in the 90's, we saved and bought more homes.
My wife and I became good at fixing them up. I kept keeping them and renting then instead of flipping.
We had three wonderful kids along the way. My wife left her corporate job after our second child.
All are in Catholic schools. My wife and I value education above all and put our money towards
that then fancy cars, cloths or vacations. We volunteer alot of our time in our local parish.
We try to stay green, recycle and vote (Republican).
I hope to hear from some old friends and maybe, make some new ones !
