Kenneth's Story
Life
I retired from DOD DISA Joint Interoperabilyt test Command (JITC) in 2006 after 22 years of Government Service as a Computer Engineer, Systems Architect and Systems engineer. I currently consulting for DOD under contract to the Navy through GBL Systems Inc of Camarillo, CA as a Systems Architect.. I am the ChIef System's Architect for the Net-Centric System Test Focus area of Science and Technolgy for Test and Evaluation and Chief Architect for the NAVY NAWCAD MLS project in PAX, MD. I served in the USAF 1962-1966, Graduated University of Arizona in 1971, BS Engr Math. Completed a Graduate Certificate from George Mason University, Virginia in 1997 for Information Systems Engineering. Prior to Government Service I worked for Lockheed Electronics and Bell Aerospace and was later the technical director for Singer Systems and Software Engineering in Tucson. apability, a nationwide network for testing of Network Centric Warfare system and was in charge of Modeling and Simulation for Test and Evaluation for the Defense Information Systems Agency at the JITC. I grew up in Grace, Idaho on a farm/ranch and graduated from Grace High School.
School
High School in Grace, Idaho was an interesting experience. I did pretty well in school and was able to make use of it in later life.
College
I completed a Graduate Certificate from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va in Infromation Systems Engineering in 1997. I completed a BS in Engineering Mathematics at the University of Arizaona College of Systems Engineering in 1971 after leaving the Air Force and continued to take graduate courses in EE, CS and system Engineering and completed an MS in Electrical Engineer program.
Workplace
I currently own my own Systems Architecture and Engineering consulting firm in Sierra Vista Arizone and do work for the Navy and DOD ATL TRMC in DC via a contract with GBL Systems Inc.
