Hello to the curious or otherwise bored: I think that I have had a very good life and I have great health that should allow more fun for years to come. Our education at JMHS set the stage for good things in our time. I have not done anything that is either terribly remarkable or infamous. Vocationally speaking after JMHS, I worked for AT&T and went to LACC at night. At age 22, I realized that am not following my dream so I took a management intern offer and went to school full time with the promise of a manager's job upon graduation. After two years, I was drafted but joined the U.S.Navy for six years so that I would not be killed for nothing in VNam. I was stationed in SDiego, SFrancisco, Washinton, DC, and beautiful Athens Greece for three years - Yep...no stinkin ships for me! I graduated from the U of MD in 1977 and 1981 with double majors in business and economics and computer and system sciences. I also earned an MBA from Marymount University in Arlington, VA in finance. I joined the Washington DC Metro system and helped build it from the begining and I was the Operational Computer Systems Manager until I retired in 2001. I was a systems consultant in Dallas, TX until 2008 when I permanently retired! I was also very successful as I owned and operated a small business that made control software and systems for the US Government for missiles and aircraft using computers to control things---it was a real pleasure, lots of fun wprking with smart people, and generously profitable. Personally, I was married in 1971 and divorced from this difficult marriage in 1987. I vowed to not remarry ever as my first marriage was completely difficult. However, I did meet the most wonderful woman from Hungary in 1988. She was my colleague's sister and we married in 1997. I have learned to speak Hungarian and German out of respect for her. We are very happy and frequently do silly things because we can. I have a daughter from the first marriage who does not like me - poor choice on her part and this state of affairs is a result of maternal influence. She is a family practice MD in Bridgewater, MA. I have a stepson who is a great guy. We sent him to school for computers in Hungary but he did not like the field. So he went to UTD and graduated in accounting. He finished his masters in accounting in 2017 also at UTD. He was married and has given us a wonderful grandaughter who is 6 in 2020. We have a lot of fun with family, domestic and international travel, and working on my old 1929 Ford hot rod car and financing whims. I sold my hot rod in 2022...We spend every other year in Europe traveling about from March to October. I am a Hungarian permanent resident.
