Kenneth's Story
Life
Almost 35 years since graduation from Wakefield. It is hard to believe that it has been that long. There is a lot a ground to be covered in catching up with one another and this forum will only be the beginning.
Following Wakefield, I ended up at Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA and then got my Master's Degree at Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. This, all in preparation for the ministry. Some may not be surprised that this is the road that I took, following my spiritual pilgrimage while in my last year and 1/2 at Wakefield. I then pastored a church in Yarmouth, Maine for a few years following my graduation from Seminary and am now engaged in ministry as a Hospital Chaplain (this is a full chapter of my life story). While in College I met a wonderful woman Carol, who gave me the honor of being my wife. We have now been married for 34 years (I think that we are too young to have been married that long). ving now been here for 24 years) and love the area. More recently I have been assigned to be an interim pastor in a small church in Saco, ME ( just a few miles south of Portland and about 1-1/2 hours North of Boston. We moved into the parsonage of the church back in January (not a good time to move a household in Maine - the day of the move we had to carry our piano over the 4 feet of snow that had accumulated on the ground over the previous couple of storms). Should some of you be traveling up this way, feel free to look us up in the Portland Area phone book and give us a call. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten back down to Virginia for about 20 years and would very much like to visit the area again. Hopefully in the next year or two we can manage to get the time together to make that trip.
