Kenneth's Story
Quiet, kind of a nerd, or band Geek.
I always wanted to be a Commercial artist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were close to right.
I like to go to the lake and go out fishing whenever I want. Other than that I like to watch a good movie.
The wildest thing I ever did in school would have been some of the clothes I wore in Jr High.
My dad was my hero.
Born in Edmond, lived in TN, VA, & KS, when my dad's work took us there. I've been in Edmond since the third grade.
I like to surf the internet doing my hobby, genealogy, but that hobby has led to my real obsession, my grandchildren.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel (Did that!) and add on a Play Room. My dream home would be Lake side Log Cabin.
I learned from my kids where gray hairs come from, that they like to surprise dad with...Expand for more
grandkids, and they think I'm an ATM Machine.
I think Mrs. Winters was one of the nicest Teachers I ever had, and one of the last ones I saw at school graduation.
I tried college after working for a summer, but enrolling as a freshman with the last name of Wood made it near impossible to get classes in my Major, Commercial Art and Design. The classes I took were above my grade and were too hard, so I dropped out. If I couldn't design buildings I could at least build them.
I'm presently a construction supervisor for an OKC based company. I don't see myself going much further or higher, nor do I want to. The stress would kill me.
I've only won one trophy in my life. I won 3rd place in a diaper derby with my youngest son when we entered him in a baby contest.
In 10 years, I hope to be retired. I'm going to get there by trying to stay healthy.
