Kenneth's Story
I was active in Scouting in High School. We camped and explored caves. I read about Mountain Climbing and Backpacking. I went to Vincennes University and studied Geology. I went to the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) in the Spring Semester on 1977 for a semester of outdoor education and wilderness leadership courses. I married after NOLS and moved my family back to Lander, WY where the National Outdoor Leadership School is. I worked at a state park, Sinks Canyon State Park. I have worked at several State Parks, starting at Spring Mill State Park, IN.

ral Resources. After Lander, WY, we moved to Laramie,WY so I could attend the University of Wyoming. I earned a degree in Geography. While in Wyoming, I climbed one of the Tetons and Devils Tower, among other mountains. After college, we moved back to Bedford. I worked in Information Technology for 12 years for various companies. After leaving IT work, I worked for IDNR again, in the division of Fish and Wildlife. I helped keep track of our Bald Eagle population, our Peregrine Falcon nest boxes in Indy, and Barn Owl nest boxes we had put out over several years. I currently am working at the Bedford Lowes store part-time.
