Kenneth's Story
Hello to all my younger day friends and any potential new ones! After Widefield I sowed my wild oats at CU Boulder, marrying in 1970. A gal named Barb, cheerleader from Harrison High...yeah, Barbi and Ken. One daughter (not Skipper) and 5 years later I was back on the wild oat farm for a short time, then finally settled into being a serious student until I had my first nearly useless bachelor's degree. After 2 years in the Navy Hosp. Corps, (what was I thinking?),,I returned to school for my RN. Nearly 25 years of Nursing with 20 in the OR, (10 in Colo. Springs and 10 in Sarasota, FL). house that always needs some form of maintenance! My daughter is an interior decorator/home stager in Austin with my two granddaughters, 9 and 13. We live at the end of a Gulf canal home and enjoy the beach and scuba diving and occasionally fishing from our leaky 25' Regal boat. Like my boat, I've taken on a little water over the years and may resemble a water barrel more than a lifeguard, but try to remember me as the athlete I once was. The friendships I found in High School seem to be irreplaceable, and those days remain the best of times, and though I can scarcely find those people now, they forever remain in my thoughts and prayers.
