After High School, I joined the U.S.Navy and served 3 active duty and 3 years active reserves. During my service in the Navy, I became a U.S. Navy Boxer and was assigned on a Aircraft Carrier USS Forrestal CV-59. After my military career, I became a police officer and started my career with the Sanford Police Dept. I then became a Deputy Sheriff with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office and then finally with the Apopka Police Dept where I finally retired after serving 36 years total. Within those 36 years of my service, I was a member of the Seminole County Sheriff's Office SWAT TEAM for approximately 7 years and then became a member of the Apopka PD Metro SWAT TEAM for approximately 20 yrs for a total of 27 yrs. I also served on the DEA Task Force as an federal undercover drug agent for approximately 7 years.
