Life
Greetings fellow Vikings. I'd like to update y'all on what I've been doing since high school but then I'd have to kill you...Haha, funny if you've ever seen TopGun, I guess. What I have been doing is playing Marine with Uncle Sam's Misguided Children (USMC) for 20 years. For those of you who knew me I'm sure this is a shock. I joined in 1979 to work on aircraft and got to go to college (UT Grad 1985), and eventually flew UH-1N Hueys, T-34 trainers and the C-12 Super KingAir. My duty stations took me from East to West, spending most of my time on the West coast, with lots of time overseas ...Expand for more
in the Western Pacific, Far East and a short 7 month stint in Desert Shield/Storm. My best tour was as a flight instructor in Corpus Christi , where I met my wife, Audrey, who gave me 3 sons, born in 84, 95 and 98. I retired and moved back to the DFW area and have a "part-time" job with a major airline. Audrey keeps us in cat toys by sewing and costuming. High school was fun for me, especially being in the band (Drum Corps). I had lots of good friends and hope everyone is doing well, and maybe we'll run into you sometime around the metroplex or the airport. Take care, and drop me a note!
